The Durham Business Improvement Area is a non-profit organization which represents all businesses located within its boundaries.  The Durham B.I.A. is located along Garafraxa Street, also known as Highway 6, from Saddler Street to George Street and on Lambton Street, also known as County Road 4, from Queen Street to Albert Street and it also includes the side streets inside this boundary.

The Durham B.I.A. focuses on the beautification of the downtown core, promotion of seasonal events and working together to promote the business within this area.
