All content on the site can be updated using a custom programmed browser-based adminstration area. Text and links can be formatted, and photos and file attachments can be added to all pages of the web site.	The site features random photo banners and an events calendar which MFRC - Meaford staff can update using an administration area. The site can be viewed at: www.mfrcmeaford.com
Project Scope The Military Family Resource Centre in Meaford's existing web site needed a revamp to project a more professional image. The site also needed a more consistent navigation structure so that users could find information quickly and easily. The old site was confusing and difficult to navigate. They also wanted to incorporate photographs of the military families into the new site. The office staff also required a content management system so that staff members could easily update the events calendar, text content and monthly newsletters on a regular basis.
The Result Dragonfly Designs developed a fresh new design for the Military Family Resource Centre in Meaford. The site acts as a family oriented web site portal that will provide easy access to workshops, events, and a wealth of information and support for military families. A new professional colour scheme and photographic banners were created which used military family photos to create a supportive and caring atmosphere for the site. A new user-friendly navigation structure was developed utilizing a drop-down menu system. This allows easy access to a large volume of information. The site also features an events calendar. This calendar can be updated by MFRC staff via a password protected administration area. A small calendar is featured on the home page to promote events within the upcoming week. A larger view calendar is also provided for events in the coming months. A complete custom content management admin area was built so that the staff can keep the events calendar, file attachments, photos and text content on the site up to date.
