Project Scope

Dragonfly Designs worked with the Municipality of Grey Highlands to re-design their existing web site. The new site incorporates a four seasons theme and uses many photographs to showcase the area. The web site will act as a portal for area businesses, visitors, residents and newcomers to the area. A separate business directory and administration area for the local chambers of commerce was also a part of the project. PHP, CSS, mySQL databases and Javascript programming were used to build this site.

All content on the site can be updated using a custom programmed browser-based adminstration area. Text and links can be formatted, and photos and file attachments can be added to all pages of the web site. Admin users can also add new pages to the site, update Bid Opportunities and update the events and council meeting calendars.

The site features a slideshow on the home page, individual banners for each section, an events calendar which Municipality staff can update using an administration area and a separate Business Directory and administration area for the local Chambers of Commerce.
